About this demonstration
What this site is, what it carries, and how notes about the build are kept apart from VCT’s content.
This site is a demonstration built by Datacleave Ltd. for the City of Vancouver’s request for proposals PS20261832-ACCS-RFP, to show what a migration of the Vancouver Civic Theatres website onto WordPress produces before any contract exists. It is not the live site, it is closed to search engines, and it uses no City emblem.
What it carries
Vancouver Civic Theatres’ own content, captured from vancouvercivictheatres.com on 16 September 2026: every event in the current site’s events feed, the five venues with their visiting answers, resident companies and rental documents, the editorial pages, the contact details and VCT’s own photography. Nothing was invented. The venue colours, the hub introductions and the sample news entries are Datacleave’s proposals and are labelled as such where they appear.
How notes about the build are shown
Anything that is about the demonstration rather than about VCT is set on a yellow note with the label “Demonstration”, like the bar at the top of every page and the strip beneath the footer. The pages in this section carry the same label above their title, and they are kept out of the site’s search, suggestions, menus, sitemap and feeds, so a reader cannot mistake them for VCT content.
