Sustainable Practices at VCT

Vancouver Civic Theatres proudly engages in sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.

We choose reusable and recyclable materials in our concessions whenever possible, and our food and beverage offerings include many local products.

All of our venues, including administration offices, have extensive recycling programs in support of the City of Vancouver’s zero waste targets. We use energy efficient light bulbs and appliances where possible and are committed to contributing towards the City’s Greenest City Action Plan.

Our green vision for the future includes sustainable and LEED^® certified renovation methods, community gardens, and electrical vehicle charging stations. We look forward to bringing you even more sustainable programs and ideas.
